In this role you will research and analyze:

– Economic and demographic indicators and trends
– Economic and tax impact studies
– Economic development strategies
– Market and feasibility analyses
– Industry and technology studies
– Workforce studies
– Policy analysis and program evaluation
– Site selection information and research
– Work with internal teams to develop and create briefs, white papers, and presentations around relevant content
– Partner with the CEO on various strategies to create a competitiveness for the Sacramento region and California

Ideally, we are seeking someone who possesses the following hands on skills:


– 3 years of work experience in economic development research or related positions
– Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
– Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills
– Have experience with research programs and databases
– Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
– Work well in a fast-paced team environment
– Extensive experience with RFI’s

Would prefer a candidate to have:

– BA or MA degree in economics, finance, business, public policy, planning or other related fields and work experience in economic development research or related positions
